Terms of Service
Last updated: April 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FirewallScan. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
FirewallScan provides tools to upload and analyze firewall configuration exports using AI-assisted workflows, including structured findings, risk signals, summaries, and related outputs. Features may vary by plan or region. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users’ data, probing or attacking our infrastructure, circumventing technical limits, scraping the Service in violation of these Terms, or using the Service in violation of applicable law.
You represent that you have authority to upload any configuration data you submit and that doing so does not violate your employer’s policies or third-party rights.
Your content
You retain ownership of configurations and materials you upload. You grant FirewallScan a non-exclusive license to host, process, analyze, and display such content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for redacting or excluding secrets and highly sensitive values before upload where appropriate.
Paid plans and billing
Fees for premium features, if any, are charged according to the pricing presented at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, fees may be non-refundable except where required by law.
Intellectual property
The Service, its branding, software, and documentation (excluding your uploads) are owned by FirewallScan or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights except the limited right to use the Service as offered.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” FirewallScan does not warrant that analysis or output is error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. Output is assistive only and does not constitute professional security, legal, or compliance advice. You remain responsible for validating changes to your network and for meeting your own compliance and security obligations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirewallScan and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of the Service shall not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty euros (€50), except where liability cannot be limited by mandatory law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to security, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify FirewallScan and its affiliates against third-party claims arising from your uploads, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
General
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to your contract with FirewallScan, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior conflicting communications on the same subject.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
